Virtual Sample Class: From the Classroom to Kenya
From the Classroom to Kenya: Whitman School Immersion Experience: Each May, a group of Whitman students travel to Kenya on an immersive trip that takes what they learned in a global business course and puts it into practice. Students work with various partners throughout the semester leading up to the trip and connect with these partners in person in Kenya. Professor Elizabeth Wimer leads the initiative and also teaches multiple Whitman courses.
In this session, students will share stories of their connection to global management from what they learned in class to what they saw on the ground in Kenya when they traveled with the Whitman School of Management immersion program.
